UPPER AIR UV SYSTEM:
Zone360 Series: 360-Degree Upper Room UVGI/GUV

Patent No. US 10,753,626 B2
Ceiling-Integrated Airborne Infection Control for Occupied Spaces
Zone360 Series
The Zone360 Series delivers 360-degree Upper Room Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI), also referred to as Germicidal Ultraviolet (GUV), for high-occupancy and high-risk indoor environments. Designed as a 2′ × 2′ ceiling-integrated unit, the Zone360 establishes a controlled, high-intensity zone of UV-C irradiation in the upper air layer, enabling continuous airborne pathogen inactivation while the space remains occupied.
Engineered for rooms with a minimum 8-foot ceiling height, the Zone360 provides upper-air treatment in spaces approximately 500–1000 square feet, depending on airflow conditions and room geometry. As natural convection and mechanical air currents circulate air through the irradiation field, airborne microorganisms are exposed to germicidal UV-C energy, reducing airborne pathogen concentration and contributing to improved Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). Units are available with or without an integrated fan to support enhanced air mixing where required.
Air and Surface Load Considerations
Upper Room UVGI is designed to address airborne transmission. By reducing airborne pathogen concentration, the Zone360 also helps limit the number of viable microorganisms that may settle onto surfaces as aerosols naturally decay. This approach complements — but does not replace — established surface cleaning protocols and infection control strategies.
Engineered for Long-Term Performance
Constructed for demanding commercial and healthcare environments, the Zone360 features commercial-grade materials and a tool-less service design to support simplified maintenance. Non-proprietary UV-C lamps allow predictable lifecycle cost management without vendor lock-in.
Compliance: Manufactured in the United States and supporting Build America, Buy America (BABAA) requirements.
Applications: Healthcare facilities, educational settings, transportation hubs, and other high-density indoor spaces requiring continuous airborne infection control.
Zone360 (with 100cfm fan)
Patented Zone360 design with built-in fan for indoor environments, including spaces with no HVAC in place, that need immediate airflow, circulation, and disinfection.
Zone360X (with 100cfm, 200cfm, 530cfm fan options)
The Zone360X incorporates fan-assisted air mixing into the Zone360 platform for environments with variable occupancy. Featuring three selectable speeds (100, 200, and 530 CFM), the unit supports demand-responsive UVGI performance by enhancing vertical air mixing through the upper-room irradiation zone. This contributes to increased equivalent Air Changes per Hour (eACH) consistent with established upper-room UVGI design principles. The Zone360X received a Dealer Design Award for indoor air quality.
Zone360N (no fan)
For those looking for a simple but effective design, the Zone360N is our no fan and no filter option.
